Terms of Service

What NOVA Pictures is

NOVA Pictures, operated by Orange Pictures Ltd (United Kingdom), is a platform for screenwriters and producers: you submit a screenplay, receive written coverage, and — if the script is ready — a certification decision made by a person, documented by a verifiable certificate. Certified projects can use the built-in production workspace. The platform is currently in beta.

Your work stays yours

You retain all rights, title and interest in every script and document you submit. Submitting a script grants us only the limited licence we need to operate the service: storing your files, processing them to produce your coverage, and displaying them back to you and to the review team. Certification never transfers any rights in your work.

Fees

Every paid step shows you the exact amount before you pay, priced for your region and processed by Stripe. A reading fee pays for the read, the written coverage and the certification process — it does not buy a certification. Scripts that are not ready are sent back with notes.

If something goes wrong on our side — you paid and did not receive the service you paid for — contact us and we will make it right.

What we don't promise

We do not promise that your script will be certified, produced, purchased or distributed. Coverage and certification are professional assessments, not guarantees of commercial outcome.

Acceptable use

Submit only work you have the right to submit. Do not upload material that infringes someone else's rights, and do not attempt to interfere with the platform or other users' data. Accounts that break these rules can be suspended.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, which governs these terms.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on this page with a new date at the top.
